A close game in the Markham Field House as the Racers pull ahead and hang on to a close one against th eTrotters. Markham City was led by Jimmie Myles who scored 33 points. Jermaine Love-Roberts (6'2''-G, college: Ill.-Springfield) had 27 and Jason Warren (6'7''-F/G-84, college: Missouri Western) had 20. The Trotters' leading scorer, Ty Morley, also had 33. Nick Waddell (6'7''-C, college: Grand Valley St.) scored 29 and Terrence Shawell (6'3''-F) scored 25.

Kenosha Ballers 103, Windy City Blazers 97
The Ballers pick up a win at Home. The leading scorer for the Ballers was Brian Colbert (6'3''-G-81, college: Cameron) who scored 25. He brought down 6 rebounds and had 3 assits. Quande Moore and Deveon Jenkins (6'3''-G/F-87, college: Jarvis Christian) both scored 20. Rashim Lettsome (5'11''-G-85, college: Dominican, IL) had a game high of 10 assists. The Blazer's Kennedy Jones led all scores with 44 points, and 4 assists. Jocar Demby and Anthony Simmons (6'8''-F-85, college: Purdue-NCent.) both had 20 points. Anthony Simmons also had 8 rebounds.

Two-time champion. The Kenosha Ballers won their second-straight Independent Basketball Association title today by defeating expansion team Milwaukee Falcons in Kenosha. Milwaukee entered the league playoffs as the top seed. They easily defeated the Illinois Hoopville Warriors in the semifinal 115-91 on Saturday. A grueling eight days ended with a championship for the Kenosha Ballers and coach Tony Moore . The Ballers claimed their first Independent Basketball Association title with an 87-83 win over the defending champion St. Louis Trotters before an estimated crowd of 300 at the Boys and Girls Club in Kenosha on Saturday.
