Ballers' IBA title run stalls - 10 days ago

With just two quarters left to an Independent Basketball Association spring season title, the Kenosha Ballers seemed to be in good shape. Kenosha led St. Louis 61-54 before a packed house at the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha, but that's where the game ended. After an apparent break- in to the teams' locker rooms, according to Kenosha coach Tony Moore , the game was halted and will be rescheduled within the next couple weeks. Kenosha To Host IBA Championship - 19 days ago

Three teams are set to meet in Kenosha on June 11-12 to crown the next IBA champion. After a ten-game spring season schedule Kenosha Ballers (8-2) proved to be the best and will host the two-day event. The two teams who will face off in the lone semifinal are St.Louis Trotters (6-4) and Grand Rapids Fusion (1-8). With just two weeks remaining in the IBA spring season, much could be decided this weekend. Kenosha Ballers (6-2) currently sit atop the league standings, but St. Louis Trotters (4-3) are chasing the top seed for the playoffs. Those teams meet on Sunday in Kenosha for the fourth and final time this season.
