British basketball prospect Nelson Boachie-Yiadom (6'9''-F-99), class of 2018, has committed to Davidson College. "I like the fact that they've worked with a number of European players and that they were one of the first to work with European players. It's a great academic fit and to get a degree from there would be great", he said according to newenglandrecruitingreport.com.

Boachie-Yiadom has been playing for Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut, since 2015. A regular on the British junior national team, he averaged 11.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 blocks per game at the 2017 European Championships U18 Division B en route to a silver medal.
