Patrell
Rogers
The Carolina Thunder are gearing up for their first season in the East Coast Basketball League. Coach Page is putting the finishing touches to the roster for season tipoff. Recently the Thunder added some firepower with the addition of Patrell Rogers (6'2''-G). From the looks of the preseason games that played he gonna be an household name for sure. The combo guard coming off back-to-back performances in which he scored well over 30 points. With his ability to attack the defense with his dribble and shooting teams will have a tough assignment. Definitely will be one of the most explosive players to watch in league play.

Bobby Crawford (6'3''-G) Jr., who is the younger brother of Andrew Crawford (6'4''-G, college: Benedict) should be a nice role player. The former Newberry Indians football player is back on the hardwood now causing problems defensively. Since Coach Page is not on the court to guard the top perimeter players he can send BJ to do the job. Here is a guy who can guard 1-5 with the heart of a lion. The ECBL is guard-loaded with talent so keep an eye on this guy.

The latest addition to the Thunder is Deonte Johnson (6'4''-F-87, college: Benedict), better known as Radio. Now this is one of those pickups where you say wow. Radio is gonna bring so many intangibles to the team. Another explosive player that will give teams fits in the post. With how the Thunder like to play he should have plenty of chances to work the post. Once again Andrew Crawford and Radio are teammates and we know what that meant at Benedict Tigers. Can they work that magic in the ECBL?

One more addition includes the pledge of Kenny Wayne, a 6'8" guy who can post and shoot the triple.

Keep up with the Carolina Thunder by following the team on Twitter at @CaroThunder.
