Chris Schieman Media is excited to announce it will be the official broadcasting provider for the East Coast Basketball League (ECBL) in 2017, for the third consecutive season.

In the Spring and Summer of 2017 the league will broadcast 10 regular season games, plus the ECBL Championship and All Star Game. Chris Schieman Media will broadcast all 10 regular season games as well as the ECBL Championship on June 24. The 2017 ECBL All Star Game will be produced by NetCast Sports.

Calling the action will be broadcasting veteran Chris Schieman. 'It's exciting to be working again with the ECBL,' Schieman said. 'The league has been a very loyal client and I have made upgrades to equipment to ensure this year's broadcasts look great.' The broadcasts will feature high-definition (when available) and an increased emphasis on player information and statistics.

The entire 2017 ECBL Game of the Week schedule:

March 19: North Carolina Coyotes vs Petersburg Cavaliers
March 25: Florence Wildcats at PrimeTime Players
April 1: Savannah Storm at Carolina Crusaders
April 8: Lumberton Showstoppers at Lumberton Showstoppers
April 22: South Carolina All Stars at South Carolina All Stars
April 29: Lumberton Showstoppers at Winston-Salem Certified
May 6: Charlotte Golden Bulls at SC Upstate Redhawks
May 13: Petersburg Cavaliers at Florence Wildcats
May 20: Hampton Roads Warriors at PrimeTime Players
May 27: Carolina Thunder at High Point Hawks
June 24: ECBL Championship at TBD

Each game will be available live and on-demand on the ECBL YouTube. Broadcast dates and teams are subject to change, however each team in the league will have at least one broadcast.

'It's vital for the league to broadcast each team,' Schieman said. 'These broadcasts have led directly to increased sponsorship opportunities, but more importantly, they are helping ECBL players sign pro contracts in other leagues. We want to make sure each player has a showcase game to be seen on the largest video platform in the world, YouTube.'

The ECBL enters its third season as one of the most stable minor leagues in professional basketball. The league returns most teams from last season and has added teams in Lumberton, NC, Charlotte, NC, Greenville, NC, Hampton Roads, VA, Florence, SC and Dillon, SC.
