The Wildcats are owned by Isaac Wilson, Corey Bruce and Zack Alleyne, who are all natives of Florence.

"We are pleased to welcome Isaac Wilson and the city of Florence to the league," commented Thomas. "We are truly excited and expect the Wildcats will be a premiere professional sports team in this vibrant, growing, global destination city."

Wildcats Director of Basketball Personnel Corey Bruce said,'This is just one more thing that makes the ECBL, Florence County and this community so special. This partnership is just another way we're going to help grow this city and this region. I know this sport; I love this sport; and what a great place to have it.'

The Florence franchise will compete in the Southern Division with teams from Columbia, Greenville, Augusta,Savannah and Charlotte. The team will be led by head coach John Galbreath, a former basketball standout in the Pee Dee Region.

Zack Alleyne, Director of Marketing added, 'We share the vision for this league and look forward to playing our part in making it a great success. Part of our responsibility is to grow the game of basketball, and this new team will play a significant role in that effort.'
