This past Saturday the Baxter YMCA hosted the battle of two of the top ECBL Teams as the PrimeTime Players returned home to take on the 5-1 Northern Conference co-leaders RDU Raptors. PrimeTime having come off of a 117-120 OT loss to the SC Allstars last week came out strong in the 1st quarter with PG Victor Street and new RDU signee Corey Evans both matching each other with 8 points each in the quarter as bother team played even over the first 8 minutes of the quarter. Danny Sanders having started his third straight game checked back into the game in the closing minutes of the quarter and scored 11 of his 14 first Quarter points in the final minutes as PrimeTime was able to take a 34-23 lead to end the quarter. The second quarter Chris Moore and Terell Smith combined for 20 points and James Dillard also added 8 in the quarter as PrimeTime was able to push the lead to 70-48 at halftime. The third quarter started with both Robert Espinosa and Cor J Cox both being active on the boards on both ends combining for 16pts and 14 rebounds in the quarter as RDU was able to cut the lead back down to 12 early in the third. As the quarter closed Danny Sanders again helped the PrimeTime Players pull away by scoring 11 points over the last four minutes in the quarter. The fourth quarter Chris Lightner scored 11 points to go along with Tosh Hill and Will Griffin combined 14 point as RDU cut the lead down to 16 on a couple occasions before PrimeTime was able hold the Raptors off for a non conference victory. Both teams look to be secure in the playoffs and could both meet again in the league Finals both can make it out of their respective conference playoffs.

The Carolina Thunder came into the second game of the season looking to show off their versatility. Playing in his first ECBL game of the season B.J. March 17th Spartanburg SC - The PrimeTime Lkayers traveled to Spartanburg SC to take in the SC Allstars in their home debut at the Cornerstine Church Gymnasium on Saturday.
