Both teams started off slow, and at the midway point of the 1st quarter both teams where tied at 14 before Andrae Belton (6'3''-G-86, college: Tennessee St.) and Melvin Rodgers (6'4''-G-75) caught fire for the Crusaders from the outsides combining for 20 points as they where able to close the quarter on a 16-8 run and take a 30-22 lead at the end of the 1st period. The second quarter PrimeTime opened up with a quick 5-0 run to cut the lead down to three before Anton Greer (6'3''-G, college: Benedict) decided to take over the 2nd quarter by scoring 16 of his Team high 33 points to push the lead up to as many as 21 points for the Crusaders as they went into the half in full control of the game at 65-49.
The third quarter PrimeTime looked to try and get on track and where able to cut the lead down to 9 points on a couple of occasions but every time the Crusaders would answer with at big shot, including a pair of three pointers from Anton Greer (6'3''-G, college: Benedict) and Andrae Belton (6'3''-G-86, college: Tennessee St.). The fourth quarter started with PrimeTime looking at a a 81-91 deficit that they hadn't been able to over come the entire game. The forth quarter defensive of PrimeTime started to limit Carolina to one shot and out but the Crusaders where still able to hit enough shots to still be leading 113-105 with 3:30 remaining in the game. PrimeTime was able to get numerous stops down the stretch and Chris Moore (6'2''-PG-86, college: Charleston So.) was able to score 8 straight points then found Terrell Smith (6'3''-G-85, college: Limestone) for a open three pointer for PrimeTime 1st lead of the game at the 2:35 mark. After a couple defensive stops by both teams Chris Moore (6'2''-PG-86, college: Charleston So.) was able to find Danny Sanders (6'7''-SF-89, college: Jarvis Christian) for a break away dunk to seal the win with 8 seconds left in the game and PrimeTime was able to escape with a hard fought win over the Carolina Crusaders,
