Petersburg Revolution, Petersburg's new professional basketball team hosted Hale's Electrical Service, Inc. owners, David and Tanya Hale at the first practice of the season, held at Mt. Olivet Church in Petersburg, VA. Hale's Electrical Service, Inc. has partnered with the Petersburg Revolution as its presentation sponsor for their inaugural 2016 season in an effort to 'power' the team with community awareness.

A first-year franchise team in the East Coast Basketball League, the Petersburg Revolution will take the court for their first home match up versus Hampton Roads Stallions of the American Basketball Association on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 3 p.m. Tickets for this pre-season match up at Statesman Hall of Richard Bland College are to be announced.
Tickets and other giveaways will be announced through the team's Facebook page as well as during public venues. The Revolution can be followed on Twitter @ECBLRevolution. Their website is at www.petersburgrevolution.com

'Powering local sports and youth programs is key to developing a successful work force and future leaders.' said Tanya Hale, President of Hale's. 'Hale's is pleased to team up with yet another family oriented program, enabling our communities to have more wholesome choices for family recreation and entertainment.

"These types of recreation and team building endeavors keep our kids off the streets and get them involved in activities that encourage teamwork, skill building and physical fitness. Powering these activities is a win-win for all involved.'

Powering the Revolution's community-based programs like the Jr. NBA Program for Tri-Cities youth, the Hale's logo will appear on the Revolution's home and away uniforms, as well as other marketing efforts throughout the Tri-Cities. As part of the partnership, Hale's Electrical Service employees will have courtside opportunity for each home game to cheer on the Revolution and be available for close interaction with the team and Coach Jill Dunn .

Rennard Maddox, the Revolution's Community Relations and Promotions Director, said, 'It's great the Revolution will now be powered by Hale's Electrical Service for the 2016 Season. Developing local partnerships are an important goal of the Revolution.'

By Nicholas Vandeloecht The Petersburg Cavaliers slipped into a double-digit hole, trailed at halftime, took a double-digit lead of their own on 15 straight points, fell into a closely contested battle for the lead in the final stretch and then narrowly edged the visiting Hampton Roads Warriors 95-92 for their first home game win in a wild seesaw of a matchup. For Petersburg Cavaliers head coach Kyle Dixon , that seesaw "wasn't fun at all." Nevertheless, he was happy with the end result.    [read more]
