Mid City Bears are 2017 EBL Spring League Champions. In the Final game they overcame Total Body Fitness All Stars. The latter managed to post the victory against Arkansas Baptist in the semifinal game. Mid City Bears meanwhile edged Arkansas Elite in the semis. Jonathan Fitzgerald (6'0''-G-91) of the Total Body Fitness All stars was named League MVP.

Elite outscores Lightning 169-129 in the latest game of the EBL. Ryan Barnes was named MVP of the round as he erupted with 62 points for the winners. Flight keep the perfect record at the start of EBL season posting the 3rd straight win. They beat Lightning 94-56 in their latest game. City Outlaws meanwhile dropped at 0-2 record after a 65-72 loss from Lions. Jalen Mackey replied with 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. The Mountain Home Twin Lakers semi-professional basketball team started its season on a winning note with a 157-128 victory over the Arkansas Lightning on Saturday night at The Hangar. Former Arkansas Razorback Marcus Britt(6'3''-G-88) poured in 57 points on 13-of-18 3-point shooting, and he also added eight rebounds and six steals.
