The third meeting of the year between the two EBA rivals Mighty Ants and Horizon turned out to be the bell-ringer that everyone expected. Before a sizable crowd of equally distributed fans, the players put on a performance that you would expect in a Championship game with Harrisburg posting the victory 101-92.

York came in riding a five-game win streak, which included a semi-final last-second win over Westchester. Harrisburg had their 8-game perfect season on the line.

York got off to a fast start, and with Harrisburg showing some rust after a three-week layoff, the boys from I-83 South had the Horizon on the ropes with a 46-39 lead at halftime.

Harrisburg was plagued by 11 of 33 shooting from the field (33%) and ten first-half turnovers.
However, as they have done all season, the Green and White powerhouse erupted for 27 third-quarter points to take a six-point lead into the final quarter.

The Horizons Denzel Jackson scored seven of his team-high 21 points to lead the surge. The 6 6 Jackson, who played collegiately at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, was named MVP of the Championship game.

The Mighty Ants kept fighting back and were in the game to the end, trailing only 93-89 with 46 seconds left. At that point, Harrisburg guard, Jon Breeden scored a layup off a York turnover and went four for four from the foul line in the final 22.8 seconds to close out the game.

The trophy, after a five-year absence, was returned to Harrisburg!
