The Erie BayHawks (9-22) used a go-ahead layup from Kalin Lucas (6'1''-G-89, college: Michigan St.) with :6.1 to play to grab a victory from the Greensboro Swarm (11-22) this morning, 91-90. The BayHawks opened the game outscoring the Swarm 25-11 in the first quarter while shooting 46 percent compared to the Swarm's 25 percent. Greensboro closed the gap in the second, pulling the lead to ten at half. The BayHawks opened the fourth quarter with six straight points but allowed Greensboro to answer with nine unanswered points to tie the game at 77 with 5:00 to play. The teams traded baskets for the remainder of the game until Lucas finished on a go-ahead layup with :6.1 to play to seal the win. The Swarm were led by 21 points from Archie Goodwin (6'5''-G-94, college: Kentucky). Perry Ellis (6'8''-F-93, college: Kansas) had 17 points off the bench to go with eight rebounds. Damien Wilkins (6'6''-G-80, college: Georgia) added 16 points and six rebounds. Anthony Brown had a game-high 24 for the BayHawks to go with nine rebounds. Stephen Zimmerman (7'0''-F-96, college: UNLV) posted his sixth double-double of the season with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Lucas notched 19 points on seven-of-13 shooting from the field and six rebounds.

The Sioux Falls Skyforce (28-20) put on one, final show for their home crowd this season, scoring more than 30 points in every quarter on their way to defeating the Iowa Energy (11-37) at the Sanford Pentagon on Tuesday night. Maine Red Claws landed 22-year old French power forward Guerschon Yabusele (201-95). He started the season at Shanghai Sharks in Chinese CBA league. In 43 games he averaged impressive 20.9ppg, 9.4rpg, 2.0apg, 1.3spg and 1.0bpg this season. The last season Yabusele played at SPO Rouen in French ProA where in 34 games he had 11.5ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg.
