The last season he played at Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Telemach League) in Slovenia. In 8 games he recorded 3.6ppg. Mitchell also played 6 games in Adriatic League where he recorded 5.0ppg and 1.5rpg. He also played at Sioux Falls Skyforce earlier that season. In 23 D-League games he recorded very impressive stats: 19.6ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.9apg and 1.2spg. Mitchell also spent pre-season at A.G.O Rethymno Aegean (A1) in Greek league earlier that year.
