Kris Joseph
Maine Red Claws tabbed 25-year old Canadian ex-international forward Kris Joseph (200-100kg-88, college: Syracuse). Its actually his comeback to Maine Red Claws as he played here before. Joseph has a double citizenship as he also holds Trinidad and Tobago passport. Joseph started the season at Boston Celtics in the NBA. But in 6 games this season he averaged just 1.2ppg. The last season he played at Syracuse University. In 37 Big East Conference games last year he had 13.4ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.4spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to All-Big East 1st Team and NABC Division I All-District 5 1st Team.
Last year Joseph was drafted by Boston Celtics (NBA) in second round (51st overall). The former Syracuse University staris in his first season in pro basketball. Joseph was a member of Canadian Senior National Team in 2009.
Lets have closer look into His outlook: a great athlete, with tremendous leaping abilities ... He is always active, always trying to make something happen around the basket whether its getting tips or put backs ... Hes an above average rebounder mainly due to his explosiveness, high energy and constant motor- always following shots and trying to make something happen around the basket.

The picture got a little bit clearer recently, as the expansion draft is scheduled for August 24, league sources tell D-League Digest. This marks the first time since 2006 the D-League has had three or more teams take part in a single expansion draft. With a number of teams joi...   [read more]
D-League Increases Salaries For 16-17 Season - 7 days ago

For the past couple seasons the salary structure in place for the D-League has consisted of tiers. There were three tiers of salaries: $13,000 (C), $19,000 (B) and $25,500 (A) and each team had a salary cap of $173,000 on top of that. For the 16-17 D-League season, there will only be two tiers for salaries as the 'C has been eliminated. The new salary levels will be $19,500 (B-Level) and $26,000 (A-Level) and the salary cap will rise to $209,000   [read more]
