Summers
The Stampede have acquired Durrell Summers (6'5''-G-89, college: Michigan St.) in a trade with new league franchise, the Santa Cruz Warriors. Summers was selected 61st overall in last weeks D-League draft, though he spent last season with the Maine Red Claws. He averaged 10.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in 12 contests (including six starts). In exchange for Summers, the Stampede sent their 2013 third-round draft pick along with 2012 draft pick Harouna Mutombo (6'4''-G, college: W.Carolina) (eighth round) to Santa Cruz. Mutombo was selected 115th overall out of Western Carolina. Idaho opens its season Nov. 18 at Los Angeles, and its home season Dec. 7 against Austin.

Lakers reassign Ivica Zubac to D-Fenders - 11 hours ago

The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned center Ivica Zubac (7'1''-C-97, agency: BeoBasket) to the Los Angeles D-Fenders for the third time this season. The 19-year-old has played well in the D-League this season, compiling averages of 17.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 blocks per game. Zubac was selected by the Lakers in the second round (No. 32 overall) of the 2016 draft. He has also spent time with KK Zrinjevac Zagreb, Cibona II Zagreb and BC Mega Leks. Warriors recall Damian Jones - 11 hours ago

The Golden State Warriors have recalled rookie center Damian Jones (7'0''-C-95, college: Vanderbilt) from the Santa Cruz Warriors of the D-League, the team announced. Jones averaged 2.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 19.3 minutes over three games in his most recent assignment, which began Nov. 30. Jones was sected 30th overall by Golden State in the 2016 NBA Draft. He grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds in 17 minutes Dec. 3 in a game against the Maine Red Claws.   [read more]

Skyforce take down Drive with big third quarter - 1 day ago

The Sioux Falls Skyforce (8-2) overcame a six-point halftime deficit to beat the Grand Rapids Drive (4-6) on the road by a 111-105 score on Wednesday night. It was the Skyforce's fourth win a row and the Drive's third consecutive loss.
