Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends selected eight players in the 2012 NBA Development League Draft tonight to fill out their training camp roster in advance of the 2012-13 season.
With the Legends first selection (8th overall) in the 2012 draft, the Legends selected Christian Eyenga (6'7''-G-89) (6'5" gaurd, Congo). Eyenga was selected in the First Round (30th overall) by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2009 NBA Draft and has spent two seasons in the NBA.

In the second round, Texas picked Sean Singletary (6'0''-PG-85, college: Virginia), 6'0" guard from Virginia. Singletary was selected by the Sacramento Kings in the 2nd round of the 2008 NBA Draft. With the Third Round selection, Texas picked Shay Shine (6'2''-G-89, college: High Point), 6'2" guard from High Point.

Additionally, the Legends selected Darryl Bryant (6'2''-G-90) in the Fifth Round, Marcus Simmons (6'6''-G-88, college: USC) in the Sixth Round, Billy McShepard (6'10''-F, college: Valdosta St.) in the Seventh Round and Kenny Dobbs in the Eighth Round.

The Santa Cruz Warriors (30-19) defeated the Salt Lake City Stars (14-34) 128-123 on Monday night at Lifetime Activities Center. Westchester Knicks strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old German forward Jarelle Reischel (199-96kg-92, college: E.Kentucky). He played recently at SC Rasta Vechta in German BBL league, but left the team in Oct.'16. But in only one game he recorded just 1 point, 1 rebound and 1 steal this season. The Sioux Falls Skyforce (27-20) shot 56 percent from the field and 45 percent from three point range on their way to a 129-120 victory over the Northern Arizona Suns (22-26).
