28-year old Jamaican-Canadian forward Dwayne Smith (198-103kg-89, college: G.Washington) left Olimpo de Bahia Blanca (TNA). In 29 games in Argentina he recorded 12.7ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.0apg and 1.5spg this season.
The last summer Smith played at Academia in Colombian Liga DirecTV where in 33 games he averaged 14.6ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.8apg. He helped them to win the Colombian Liga DirecTV-1 title (twice) (also twice).
Smith was selected to NBL Canada All-Star Game back in 2014.
He has played previously professionally in Canada (Moncton Miracles, The Storm and On Point).
Smith attended George Washington University until 2013 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball.
His game is described as: Very good rebounder for his size and plays bigger than 6-6.
