Ashton Smith
Defending champion CLS Knights Surabaya (IBL) agreed terms with 28-year old Canadian guard Ashton Smith (187-89, college: Indiana, PA). He just played at Durham in Canadian CBL league. Smith ended the last season at Bucaros in Colombia where in three Liga Sudamericana games he had 8.3ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg. But the most of that year he spent at Sabios in Colombian Liga DirecTV. In 11 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.5ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.5apg and 1.5spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Smith's team made it to the NBL Canada Semifinals in 2015. He was also voted USBasket.com NBL Canada All-Domestic Players Team in 2015.
Smith has played also professionally in Austria and D-League (Raptors 905 Missisauga).

On Smith: A very versatile and smooth player who exudes confidence on the floor.
