In 15 NBL Canada games he recorded 5.0ppg and 1.9apg this season. Canty also played earlier that season for London Lightning in Canadian NBL Canada. But in only one game he had just point and 3 assists. He received C-USA All-Freshman Team award back in 2014 at his college time. Canty graduated from Auburn University in 2016 and it is his first season in pro basketball.

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Canadian players, who play currently abroad.
#1. This week's number one is former U19 international power forward Stefan Jankovic (211-93, college: Hawaii, currently plays in Serbia). He led Crvena Zvezda to a victory over the fifth-ranked Mladost ZE (0-2) crushing them 115-64 in the Serbian KLS in Wednesday night's game.
Jankovic was MVP of the game. He recorded 22 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 29 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Jankovic's second season in pro basketball. Crvena Zvezda MTS Beograd (21-1) is placed first in Group A.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Jankovic has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 19.5ppg, 8.0rpg, 2.0apg, 1.5bpg, 2FGP: 66.7%, 3FGP: 66.7% and FT: 55.6% in two games he played so far.
Jankovic played for the Canadian U19 national team seven years ago.
#2. Second place goes to former international point guard Kevin Pangos (188-93, college: Gonzaga, currently plays in Euroleague). He was the major contributor in an overtime Zalgiris' victory against the closely-ranked Olympiacos (19-11) 87-78 in the Euroleague last Wednesday.
Pangos recorded 20 points and added 6 assists (made all of his five free throws); not bad, considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (18-12) is placed sixth in the Euroleague.
Pangos has relatively good stats this season: 12.4ppg, 2.8rpg, 6.2apg, 2FGP: 46.4%, 3FGP: 47.6%(69-145) and FT: 72.9%.
He has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Slovenian.
Pangos played for the Canadian national team in 2009.
#3. The Canadian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international guard Andrew Rautins (193-86, college: Syracuse, currently plays in Turkey). He was the main contributor in Banvit's victory against the closely-ranked Darussafaka (15-11) 88-85 in the Turkish BSL on Sunday night.
Rautins was the best player in that game. He scored 21 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 38 minutes.
Banvit Basketbol Kulubu (17-9) is placed fifth in the BSL.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Rautins' first season with the team.
This year Rautins' overall stats are: 9.3ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.5apg, 3FGP: 36.8% and FT: 86.7% in 22 games.
He is a naturalized American.
Rautins played for the Canadian national team five years ago.
#4. Guard Philip Scrubb (191-92, college: Carleton, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a Deutsche Bank Skyliners' victory against the closely-ranked Brose Baskets (18-12) 83-72 in the German BBL in Sunday night's game.
He was the top player that evening. Scrubb recorded 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!).
Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (18-14) is placed eighth in the BBL.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
This season Scrubb has very high stats. He averages: 20.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.8apg and 1.3spg.
Scrubb is another player who holds two passports: Canadian and British.
He is also Canadian national team player.
#5. International forward Melvin Ejim (201-91, college: Iowa St., currently plays in VTB United League) helped his Russian team Unics Kazan win their game against the league outsider Enisey (5-15) 93-89 in the VTB United League last Sunday.
Ejim recorded 14 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in 26 minutes.
Unics Kazan (19-2) is placed second in the VTB United League.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
There are only two games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be important.
This year Ejim's total stats are: 8.2ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.7apg in 21 games.
He has both Canadian and Nigerian nationalities.
Ejim plays currently for the Canadian national team.
#6. Power forward Owen Klassen (208-91, college: Acadia, currently plays in Germany) helped s Oliver Baskets edge the closely-ranked Telekom Baskets (19-11) 80-78 in the German BBL on Sunday night.
He was the top player that evening. Klassen recorded 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!).
s.Oliver Wuerzburg (10-10) is placed fifth in the BBL.

Klassen has averaged so far 8.6ppg and 5.4rpg.
He is an international player who is currently on the senior Canadian National Team roster.
#7. Former international guard Andrew Wiggins (203-95, college: Kansas, currently plays in NBA) helped Minnesota Timberwolves win their game against the Houston Rockets (65-17) 121-105 in the NBA in Saturday night's game.
Wiggins scored 20 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 35 minutes.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have 47-35 record this season.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Wiggins is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Timberwolves' roster.
He has very impressive stats this season: 17.6ppg, 4.4rpg, 2.0apg and 1.1spg in 86 games.

#10. Guard Justin Edwards (190-92, college: Kansas St., currently plays in France) helped JSF Nanterre win their game against the closely-ranked JL Bourg (16-13) 89-78 in the French ProA in Tuesday night's game.
Edwards scored 12 points and added 4 assists.

Douse was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 4 assists in 21 minutes.

Rosa Radom (20-12) is placed sixth in the PLK.

#4.Mohamed Hachad (194-SG-83, college: Northwestern, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for Le Portel (12-15) in their game against Chalons-Reims (12-17) in the French ProA.

#6.Dylan Ennis (187-PG-91, agency: BeoBasket, college: Oregon, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Zaragoza in their game against UCAM Murcia in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
He scored 8 points and had 3 steals. It was his first game for Zaragoza this season.
His team was defeated 84-73.
Ennis is another player who holds two passports: Canadian and Jamaican.
#7.Billy McNutt (203-C/F-85, currently plays in Luxembourg) led Etzella to an easy victory against the second-ranked Musel Pikes 119-103 in the Luxembourg Total League last Thursday.
