Alexandros
Sarikas
Trelleborg Basket (Basketettan) signed experienced 35-year old Greek-Canadian guard Alexandros Sarikas (195-81). He started the season at Akrata Achaias in Greek C league where he was the top scorer of the top scorer of the league as he scored 550 points in 30 games an average of 19 point per game. The last season Sarikas played also at Akrata Achaias (also in C Division) and lost the promotion in B' Division, in details..
He has played previously professionally also in Switzerland (Neuchatel) and Greece (Amyntas Dafnis, Kolossos H Hotels, Keravnos Aigio, KAP Agia Paraskevis and Enosi).
It's his very first time in the Swedish league andTrelleborg.
Sarikas could be described asfollows: Alexandros is a left handed combo guard shooter 2-3 spot and 1 if necessary. He is a great scorer with an awesome offensive instinct. He is very coach able and can do many jobs in the court other than scoring. His strong point in the game is the peripheral shot especially form the three point line.

Sarikas even though is not very young he does play like a young boy as he is passionate with the sport and he believes that he can play very well for at least another 3-4 seasons...
