Saenz Horeca Araberri (LEB Gold) signed 27-year old Canadian guard Jabs Newby (188-86kg-91, college: Gannon) from CB Clavijo. In 10 LEB Gold games in Spain he had 3.4ppg and 1.3rpg this season. Newby also played for Riptide in Canadian NBL Canada earlier that season.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the NBL Canada Semifinals in 2016. Newby was also voted USBasket.com NBL Canada All-Rookie Team back in 2015.
He has played also professionally in Mexico (Pioneros Los Mochis), Canada (Power and Windsor Express) and NBA G League (Raptors 905 Missisauga).
Newby attended Gannon University until 2014 and it is his fourth season as a professional player.
He could be described: A guard with outstanding athletic ability, skills, and aggressiveness. He's a big, strong power guard with great leaping abilities.

RYAN WRIGHT Karesi Spor (TBL) agreed terms with 31-year old Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-111kg-87, college: Oklahoma). He just played at Al-Ahli in Bahrain Premier League. In 5 games he had very impressive stats: 16.6ppg, 12.8rpg and 1.2apg this season.
