Shawntez Patterson (ex Windsor Exp.) agreed terms with Tromso - Oct 31, 2017

Patterson
Tromso Storm (BLNO) inked 27-year old American forward Shawntez Patterson (201-91kg-90, college: Alabama State). He played most recently at Windsor Express in Canadian NBL, but was released by the team in Jan.'17. In four NBL Canada games he recorded 4.8ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.3apg last season.
The previous (15-16) season Patterson played at Julie News Napoli (Nazionale C) in Italian league. But in 16 games he averaged just 0.0ppg.
He played in the final of Atlantic 10 Tournament in 2009.
Patterson is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Finland (Porvoon_Tarmo), Kosovo (Besa), Montenegro (Strsljen) and United Kingdom (Scorchers).
Worth to mention Patterson played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.
He attended Alabama State until 2013 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.

St. John's Edge (NBL Canada) signed experienced 36-year old Canadian ex-international guard Carl English (195-81, college: Hawaii). He played last season at ALBA Berlin in German BBL league. English managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 24 BBL games he had 9.0ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.0apg. He helped them to make it to the German Bundesliga Cup Semifinals. Dinos stay perfect as the offence regains its footing - 4 days ago
The University of Calgary Dinos men's basketball team held off the Winnipeg Wesmen once again on Sunday evening, earning a 103-89 victory. With the win, Calgary moves to 6-0 on the season, while Winnipeg slips to 1-5. After struggling from the three-point line Saturday, the Dinos were able to regain their stroke, shooting 45.5% from deep.
