Bakirkoy Basket (TBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old Canadian guard Marek Klassen (185-82kg-92, college: Point Loma). He played last season at Worcester Wolves in British BBL league. In 37 games he recorded 12.3ppg, 4.1rpg, 6.2apg (top 3) and 1.2spg. Klassen helped them to make it to the semifinals. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-British BBL 2nd Team.
The most of previous (2015-16) season he spent at Leeds Force (also in BBL) where in 15 games he averaged impressive 17.7ppg, 5.8rpg, 8.1apg (leader !!!) and 2.3spg (leader !!!). Klassen also played that season for CSU Sibiu in Romanian Liga Nationala. In four games he had 5.8ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.0apg.
Klassen won NCCAA D1 championship title in 2014.
He was a member of Canadian U19 National Team back in 2011.
Klassen graduated from Point Loma Nazarene College in 2015 and it will be his third season as a professional player.

APOP Paphou (Division A) agreed terms with 24-year old Canadian guard Junior Lomomba (196-93kg-93). He just graduated from W.Kentucky (NCAA). In 32 games he had 6.1ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.4apg last season. As mentioned above Lomomba is just out of the college and it will be his first season as a pro. Toronto Raptors strengthened their training camp roster with addition of 31-year old Canadian ex-international guard Andrew Rautins (193-86kg-86, college: Syracuse). He moved there from Tofas in Turkish BSL league where he played this season. The last season Rautins played at Gaziantep (also in BSL). In 30 games he recorded 11.9ppg, 4.1rpg, 4.7apg and 1.3spg.
