Terrell
Evans
Terrell Evans had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Victoria, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 25.
The -year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds, while his team crushed TRU (#5, 6-10) with 17-point margin 81-64. Victoria maintains the 2nd position in Canadian CIS. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Victoria will need more victories to improve their 10-5 record. It's Evans' second year at Victoria and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Terrell Evans averages this season 16.5ppg and 7.2rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was -year old Thijin Moses (201) of Calgary. Moses had a very good evening with a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds. Of course Calgary cruised to a 79-71 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Winnipeg (#4, 11-6). Calgary's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 9-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Moses is a newcomer at Calgary, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Egyptian forward Yoosrie Salhia (198-F-87) of league's second-best Lakehead. Salhia scored 22 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Lakehead, leading his team to a 80-53 easy win against the lower-ranked Laurier (#6, 4-10). Lakehead needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 5 lost games. Salhia has a great season in Canada. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.8rpg (6th best). Yoosrie Salhia has also Canadian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson (175-G-91) of Calgary - 19 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists
5. Simon Marr (203-F) of Dalhousie - 22 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
6. William Yengue (193-F) of Dalhousie - 16 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Kevon Parchment) of UFV - 24 points and 9 rebounds
8. Derek Waldner (201-C) of Lethbridge - 18 points and 13 rebounds
9. Raheem Isaac (190-G) of York - 26 points and 3 rebounds
10. Alex Ratte) of Laurentian - 21 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
