courtesy oursportscentral.com The Windsor Express will begin a crtical two game road trip in the Maritimes tonight armed with another outside scoring threat. Rookie guard Stefan Bonneau had two breakout games for the Express recently and gives the expansion club in the National Basketball League of Canada another vakluable guard option along with Darren Duncan and Mike Helms. Bonneau who signed with the Express in early December scored a season high 19 points in last weekends 101-96 loss to London and then had 16 more in a 98-94 loss to Halifax last friday. Prior to that Bonneau had yet to hit double figures in his 13 previous games for Windsor.

Utah Jazz (NBA) cut 25-year old Canadian-Greek guard Nazareth Mitrou-Long (193-94kg-93, college: Iowa State). In only one NBA game he had 3 points this season. Mitrou-Long also played for another team Salt Lake City Stars where in 22 NBA G-League games he averaged impressive 15.3ppg, 5.9rpg, 3.9apg and 1.1spg. He has never been drafted by the NBA. Musel Pikes add Green to their roster - 8 days ago
BC Musel Pikes (Total League) added to their roster 23-year old Canadian power forward Tyrell Green (201-95, college: UNLV). He played at Norrkoping Dolphins in Swedish Basketligan. In 11 games he recorded 10.9ppg and 3.5rpg this season. Good year as he was named League Player of the Week. Green just graduated from University of Nevada - Las Vegas and it is his first season as a pro. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of NJCAA D1 in 2015.    [read more]
