Guard Maxwell Allin (193-G) had a great game in the last round for Laurier, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 19.
The -year old player was the main contributor (43 points, eight rebounds and two assists) to as his team Laurier maintains the 6th position in Canadian CIS. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 8 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Allin had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He has many years of experience at Laurier, through which he has constantly improved. Maxwell Allin has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.3ppg. Allin is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 10.4rpg) and averages impressive 42.4% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was -year old American Brylle Kamen (201-F) of league's leader UBC. Kamen had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for UBC to edge slightly lower-ranked Winnipeg (#3, 8-5) in overtime 96-93. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. UBC consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 11 matches. Kamen is a newcomer at UBC, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another UBC's star - American forward Brylle Kamen (201-F). Kamen scored 26 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of UBC, helping his team with a 96-93overtime win against #3 ranked Winnipeg. UBC confirms their top position in the standings Kamen has a great season in Canada. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.5rpg (2nd best).

5. Deontay Smith) of UPEI - 23 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
6. James York) of UFV - 15 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists
7. Awet Abraha (183-PG) of Mount Royal - 33 points and 5 rebounds
8. Nikola Misljencevic (196-F) of Queen's - 19 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists
9. Georges Serresse (191-G/F) of Laurentian - 24 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Kenneth Otieno (188-G) of Alberta - 24 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

TLI-Alba Fehervar (A Division) inked 24-year old Canadian guard Justin Edwards (190-91kg-92, college: Kansas State). He just graduated from Kansas State (NCAA). Edwards has played there for the last three years. In 33 games he recorded 12.7ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.8apg and 1.8spg last season. Iwate Big Bulls (B League D2) added to their roster 25-year old Canadian swingman Jordan Baker (201-104kg-91, college: Alberta). He played last season at Galitos-Tley in Portuguese LPB league.
