Vincent
Dufort
Forward Vincent Dufort (195-F) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked McGill, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.
The -year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds, while his team edged out Concordia (#2, 3-1) 69-68. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed McGill to take over top position in the Canadian CIS. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but McGill already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Dufort had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range. It's his second year at McGill and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Vincent Dufort averages just after three games 19.0ppg and 11.7rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was -year old Nelson Yengue of Laurentian. Yengue had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he lead Laurentian to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked Laurier (#2, 2-3) 92-63. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Laurentian consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 5 matches. Yengue is well-known at Laurentian and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Stephon Lamar (185-G) of Saskatchewan (#4). Lamar got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for eight assists. He was a key player of Saskatchewan, leading his team to a 90-74 easy win against #2 ranked Victoria. Saskatchewan needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 3 lost games. Lamar has a great season in Canada. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.6ppg (best scorer) and assists with 4.9apg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Meshack Lufile (203-F) of Cape Breton - 26 points and 9 rebounds
5. Philip Scrubb (190-G-92) of Carleton - 27 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Derek Waldner (201-C) of Lethbridge - 15 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Jimmy Dorsey (188-G) of Cape Breton - 27 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Kevon Parchment) of UFV - 20 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Bjorn Michaelsen (201-F) of Ryerson - 21 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Will Ondrik) of TRU - 27 points and 7 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
