I played for the Yunnan Bulls in China (CBA). I played for this team for about 3 months and received only 1 payment. The team promised me that I would receive my money, but I not got 1 payment. I left the team because of non payment and decided to file a claim with the CBA office. A week before I left I was isolated from everyone in China. I didn't have a translator which was against the rules of the CBA. When I reached out to people that had dealing with the team they said it was difficult, because they were affraid that if they helped me they wouldn't be able to get a job in Kunming, China. The kicker was that after they said all of this they told me to be careful because this team is known to have thugs that will push on you to get you to run away. Once I left I started the process with my claim with the CBA. I was told that I would receive my money but now it has been 2 months and still no resolution. I just found out that the Chinese players were suing the club for their money so that has prolonged my situation. I don't want to take it to a law suit especially because I was told that I would get my funds that was owed. I just want to move pass this issue and receive my money. I don't want to cause any problems or make things worse. I just feel like the persons not filing a lawsuit should be entitled to their money now. Why make them wait for the other peoples lawsuit to end? The ones not going forward with a lawsuit should not have to suffer any longer without compensation.
