The American Basketball Association (ABA) released its Power Rankings for the week ending Sunday, Jan 29th, and once again, the DMV Warriors hold the #1 position. "We have some very strong teams in the ABA," stated ABA Co-Founder Joe Newman . "Being ranked #1 is pretty special when you have teams like South Florida, Windy City, Orlando, Salina, Austin and others playing so well. It will be like that throughout the season." A minimum of 9 games were required to be ranked.

The Seattle Mountaineers have signed Kevin Johnson (6'11''-C-92, college: CS Northridge), for the 2017-2018 ABA season. Kevin had a stellar career at Taft High School, 29-3 (California), he averaged 12pts, 11 rebounds, which resulted in Kevin being nominated for several All American teams and signing with NCAA D-I Big East conference Seton Hall University. The American Basketball Association (ABA) announced that the Topeka Steel has been added to its Great Plains Division. ABA Final Eight heads to Austin, TX - 7 days ago
The American Basketball Association (ABA) announced that this year's Final Eight will be played in Austin, TX and will be hosted by the Austin Bats. The Final Eight will be held in mid-April following a series of tournament games starting mid-March.
