The American Basketball Association (ABA) has just released its Power Rankings through Sunday, January 15th and the DMV Warriors maintained its number one position by a slight margin over the South Florida Gold and Orlando Waves. "The ABA Power Rankings use a system of several variables to develop the Power Rankings, including won/loss record, difficulty of schedule, number of games, score differential and home/away," stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman . "Thanks to it undefeated record, DMV ranked #1 this week." A minimum of 7 games was needed to qualify.

The Seattle Mountaineers have signed Quayshun Hawkins (6'1''-PG) pou from Benedict College-SC for the 2018-19 ABA season. Quayshun was selected to the 2017 Boxtorow 1st Team, NCAA Division 2 All American team. Quay averaged 18 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds per game during the 2016-2017 season.
