Over the past weekend, the Lima Explosion defeated the Cleveland Am Pro'ers, 134-110, improving their record to 9-5 overall. Kyle Meyer (6'6''-F-88, college: Ohio Northern) led the way at 36 pts, Kyle Gillette (6'8''-F-86, college: NW Ohio) scored 28 and Willie Tisdale (5'9''-G-85, college: Cameron) added 22 at the winning side.
The Salem Sabres took a 123-112 win over the Lakewood Panthers. Jeff Dunn (6'5''-F-83, college: Corban) was the leading scorer with 28pts with Cory Largent (6'7''-F) following with 25. Other notables were Phil Nelson (6'8''-F-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza, college: Portland St.) with 21pts and Sergio Rosario (6'5''-F-89) with 13pts.  



ABA Final Eight to start on March 29th - 8 minutes ago
The ABA Finals starts tomorrow night in Baltimore, with the last two qualifying rounds. At this time, the Final Eight have not yet been determined. Jersey Express is playing Baltimore Hawks for one spot, Richmond Elite is playing Orlando Waves for another. ABA annouces Cinco de Mayo tournament - 11 days ago
The American Basketball Association announced that four ABA teams will participate in a tournament to be held in Mexico during Cinco de Mayo which will also feature several Mexican and Latin American teams. The American Basketball Association (ABA) announced last week that Tom Ellingsen has been named European VP of Marketing. "I could not be more delighted than to have Tom representing the ABA in Europe," stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman .
