Mcpherson Scores 30 pts in a loss for the (JT Focus Mgt) Cleveland Am Pro'ers (sponsored by Leff Electric) vs Chicago Steam

In a very tough loss for the Cleveland Am Pro'ers, Eric McPherson (6'3''-G-86, college: Lindsey Wilson) continues his scoring assault on the ABA this season. During the first half Eric McPherson (6'3''-G-86, college: Lindsey Wilson), Dawan Cline (6'0''-G-92), and Darrell Parker (6'2''-G-87) provided offense, and Ronny Galloway gave the Cleveland Am Proers great interior defense that kept them in the game.

A two point Chicago Steam lead at halftime, exploded to a 24 pt lead at the end of the third quarter. The third quarter featured Cleveland Am Pro'ers teammates showing anger between one another. The Chicago Steam during the third quarter were led by R. Hill and D. Tyler for the Hill and Tyler provided an inside, outside punch that the Cleveland Am Pro'ers could not handle, and the rest of the Steam team played freely and easy off of those two.

During the 4th quarter the Chicago Steam pulled off the gas somewhat, while the Cleveland Am Pro'ers continued to fight through adversity and work hard in preparing themselves for the rest of the ABA season.

The Cleveland Am Pro'ers were led by Eric McPherson (6'3''-G-86, college: Lindsey Wilson) who notched 30 pts 8 rebs 7 ast. Darrell Parker (6'2''-G-87) chipped in with 18 pts 7 rebs. Dawan Cline (6'0''-G-92) tallied 17 pts 5 rebs. Recent signee Ronny Galloway added 13 pts 10 rebs 2 blks 3 ast. Stephan Brown chipped in with 9 pts 3 rebs.

The Chicago Steam were led by R. Hill 18 pts. D. Tyler chipped in with 17 pts. Karl White added 17 pts. Lavese Jones contributed 14 pts.

The Cleveland Am Pro'ers fall to 2-3, while the Chicago Steam go to 5-0.

In related news the Cleveland Am Pro'ers have released Isiah Kirlland (6'2''-G-90), and added former Cleveland St. University and European Pro Theo Dixon (6'6''-G/F-78, college: Cleveland St.) to their roster.

The American Basketball Association (ABA) announced last week that Tom Ellingsen has been named European VP of Marketing. "I could not be more delighted than to have Tom representing the ABA in Europe," stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman . Aliens tame the Lions - 15 days ago
Atlanta Aliens finished the regular season strong by defeating Lions Basketball 139-100. The Aliens used tough defensive pressure to establish an early lead and never looked back. At the end of the 1st quarter, the Aliens led 41-21. They extended the lead by halftime 84-47 and cruised to victory the remainder of the game.
