The Texas Whirlwinds defeated the Texas Fuel 115-103 during the past weekend. The Whirlwinds had a great jump start by our two all-star Marlo Saunders (6'5''-F-84, college: Texas-PB) and Marcus Saunders (6'10''-C-84, college: Texas-PB). Marlo scored 24 points and Marcus performed for 21 pts, 10 blocks, 4 steals, 12 rebs.
Berry Whitley (5'9''-G-81, college: SUNO) added 14 points, 9 steal, 12 assist, Billy Wilson (6'8''-F/C-84, college: N.C.Central) 14 ponts, 11 Rebs, Nedrie Simmons (5'9''-G, college: Texas-PB) 10 points 5 steals, and great newcomer 10 year Air Force vet Larry Boyd with 12 point, 12 rebs.
