Saturday November 17th Pontiac Michigan the JT Focus Mgt CLEVELAND AM PRO'ERS (sponsored by Leff Electric) defeat the Pontiac Firebirds 125 to 121

JT Focus Mgt CLEVELAND AM PRO'ERS (sponsored by Leff Electric) were led by Eric McPherson (6'3''-G-86, college: Lindsey Wilson) who tallied 33 pts 7 rebs 2 ast. Will Jones (6'7''-F) added 23 pts 12 rebs 4 ast. ABA Rookie Patrick Leigh (5'11''-G-90) added 21 pts 7 rebs 3 ast 2 stls. Isiah Kirlland (6'2''-G-90) contributed 18 pts 3 rebs. 5'6" dynamo Darvel Harris (5'6''-G-83) added 10 pts 8 ast 4 rebs 1 blk and provided great leadership at the point guard position. brahim Konate (6'8''-F-85, college: Boston U.) made his regular season debut and added 6 pts 7 rebs and some great defense.

Pontiac Firebirds were led by Eric Evans who tallied 24 pts. Marcus Smith added 22 pts.

The JT Focus Mgt CLEVELAND AM PRO'ERS (sponsored by Leff Electric) had contribution from several different players at different times during the game. During the 1st half Patrick Leigh (5'11''-G-90) and Isiah Kirlland (6'2''-G-90) led the team with scoring, defense and hustle plays. During the 3rd quarter William Jones started warming up with an array of crossover moves and interior post moves. The 4th quarter was all Eric McPherson (6'3''-G-86, college: Lindsey Wilson), who scored 22 of his 33 pts in that quarter. Eric McPherson (6'3''-G-86, college: Lindsey Wilson) is proving to be an explosive scorer in the ABA. Will Jones (6'7''-F) is also becoming a very sought after player.

During the first half defensively the JT Focus Mgt CLEVELAND AM PRO'ERS (sponsored by Leff Electric) effort was bad. After allowing 67 pts in the first half the JT Focus Mgt CLEVELAND AM PRO'ERS (sponsored by Leff Electric) played a little better defense in the second half by giving up 54 pts. The key to the game was defense against Eric Evans in the 4th quarter. Evans screen and roll decision in the first 6 minutes of the quarter were phenomenal, but the JT Focus Mgt CLEVELAND AM PRO'ERS (sponsored by Leff Electric) made adjustments there after which resulted in some in decision and costly turnovers.

The JT Focus Mgt CLEVELAND AM PRO'ERS (sponsored by Leff Electric) head Coach Melanie Sweeney (5'9''-G/F, college:Cleveland St.) stated "I think our team came together in the 4th quarter, that along with the experience of facing the Lima Explosion point guard, who mirrored Eric Evans skill set, helped us get over the hump of letting one person single handily control the 4th quarter of a game.

The JT Focus Mgt CLEVELAND AM PRO'ERS (sponsored by Leff Electric) next scheduled game is December 8th vs the Chicago Steam.
