The American Basketball Association (ABA) announced that an exciting new team has been added to the ABA for the upcoming season, the Hollywood Magic, located in Hollywood, CA. "This is not just any team," stated ABA CEO Joe Newman . "This is a very exciting team, the first Celebrity Professional Basketball Team in history. The team was originally based in Antelope Valley CA. But when Donald Sanchies , the owner, began adding celebrities to the team, it was only natural that they move to the Celebrity Capital of the World - Hollywood. What an exciting team."
"This is not just a celebrity team," added team owner Donald Sanchies , who also owns the highly ranked Los Angeles SLAM. "These players are very skilled and can play competitively at the professional level. We have Hip Hop Artists, actors, singers, movie producers, ex-NBA, NFL and MLB players and others, all names fans will recognize."
"The Hollywood Magic will be competing in real professional basketball games in the ABA. And I believe all of the teams in the SoCal Division of the league will benefit from the presence of the Magic's celebrity players. They should be playing to sold out arenas everywhere," continued Sanchez. "Most of our games will be on the road this season in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Diego and Fresno."

The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced FIRST TO 50, a major change to basketball designed to meet the needs of a dynamic new America where TIME is the major consideration.
