Seattle Mountaineers President and Head Coach Don Sims has assembled an impressive group of talent for the 2012-13 ABA season.
In 2011-2012, he coached Seattle to a 23-2 regular season record and 27-6 overall record, first place in the ABA PacNW Conference and had the Mountaineers ranked as high as #10 in the Nation in the ABA regular season poll.
Entering his seventh season as head coach, Sims is hoping that the right mix of youthful exuberence and seasoned veterans will blend to make a winning combination.

Jersey Express signed 23-year old forward Duane Morgan (198-93, college: Adelphi). He played most recently at Atenas Carmen in Argentinian TNA league, but left the team in Oct.. In four games he had 6.5ppg and 3.0rpg last season. Morgan graduated from Adelphi University in 2015 and actually missed last season. It will be his second season as a professional player. The ABA Georgia Gwizzlies just returned from playing in the 'Jump 10 Hoops Challenge' in Shanghai China. Team competed against Spain and Philippines. Just like the team from the Los Angeles famed Drew League, who was favorite to win the Tournament, Gwizzlies fell short. Games were played using a running clock.
