The Cleveland Am Pro'ers (Sponsored by JT Focus Mgt.) will open up their season this Saturday in Lima, Ohio vs. the Lima Explosion. The Cleveland Am Pro'ers (Sponsored by JT Focus Mgt) will be young, athletic, and short in stature, but not in competitive fire.

The Cleveland Am Pro'ers will be lead by Dawan Cline (6'0''-G-92) an unknown athletic 6'0'' combo guard, who scored 31 points in a game vs the Lima Explosion last season. Cline can shoot with range, attack the basket, and is a fearless competitor.

New faces for the Cleveland Am Pro'ers (Sponsored by JT Focus Mgt.) will include Isiah Kirkand a 6'2'' shooting guard, who will play some 3 and 4 for the Cleveland team. Isiah is another untapped Cleveland commodity who is blessed with a 45 inch vertical leap. Isiah can shoot with range, play multiple positions and is a vicious competitor.

Caleb Chen a 5'10'' shooting guard is a recent graduate of Miami of Ohio. Caleb played club basketball at Miami of Ohio and is a lights out shooter.

Patrik Leigh a 5'11'' 3 man is very undersized, but his athletic ability, hustle, motor, and extremely quick hands allows Patrick to be a tremendous component of the Cleveland Am Proers (Sponsored by JT Focus Mgt.) ability to win games this season.

Jerrod Mays a 6'2'' 3 man will play some 3 and 4 for the Cleveland Am Pro'ers (Sponsored by JT Focus Mgt.). Jerrod is a recent acquistion, that is athletic, can handle the ball, shoot the mid range and 3 point shot with consistency, create shots for his teammates, and willing to learn and do whatever it takes to help the team.

Veterans returning to the team include Darvel Harris a 5'7'': guard, Jerial Nixon a 6'1'' bruiser who scored 31 points vs Detroit Hoops this preseason, Eric Mcphearson and explosive combo guard, who recently played in Italy for Cus Parma/Italy.

Other Cleveland Am Pro'ers (Sponsored by JT Focus Mgt.) acquistions include Demario Branch a 6'0'' guard who can create his own shot on anyone.

You say where is the Cleveland Am Pro'ers (Sponsored by JT Focus Mgt.) rebounding, blocked shots, and offensive put backs going to come from without a true 6'9'' or bigger athlete, we will have to see October 3rd, who steps up for the Cleveland Am Proers (Sponsored by JT Focus Mgt.) team!!

Kevin Waters
Waters named Coach of the Year - 15 days ago

Jacksonville Giants' Head Coach Kevin Waters was named Coach of the Year at the end of 2015-2016 season, for the third time in six year stint in the ABA. Coach Waters has led the Giants to Back to Back ABA National titles in 2011-12, 2012-13 and winning his third title the season just ended. In his tenure the Giants have broke two professional scoring records and he has placed numerous players overseas. The American Basketball Association (ABA) announced that it has added three other teams to its huge expansion for the upcoming season. They are: - the Texas "ATX" Warriors, based in Austin, TX, made all by deaf players. Jose Amador is the Co-Executive Chairman and Head Coach of the Warriors that were founded in 2014.
